CrossFit Boulder Creek Sponsors December Fundraiser for World Concern’s Kids to Kids Program

Boulder Creek, CA (PRWEB) December 11, 2005 -- Beth Moscov, head trainer and owner of CrossFit Boulder Creek, is sponsoring a December fundraising drive for World Concern on December 28th, 2005. For a donation of $15.00, you can train with Beth at her mountain facility just outside Boulder Creek, from 9:00 am to 11:30am. The workout will be designed in such a way as to allow you to drop in any time during those 2 ½ hours, and enjoy a CrossFit circuit – or more, if you’re so inspired!

World Concern is a humanitarian organization that provides emergency relief and community development in some of the most neglected areas of the world. They believe strongly that people can solve their own problems and that our responsibility is to enable them with resources, encouragement and opportunities. Many people in developing countries are up against immense hardships. Many compassionate groups and individuals - like you - want to make a difference. For nearly 50 years, World Concern has been bringing the two together to meet needs and offer hope. Millions are living better as a result.

To that end, Beth’s fundraiser is targeting their Kids to Kids program, where baby dairy goats are given to children in underdeveloped countries to raise. Each goat can provide up to one gallon of milk every day, which can then be turned into butter, yogurt or cheese. These products nourish the children, their families and provide income to buy the things growing children need: clothing, education and medicine.

It’s not surprise to her friends that Beth has chosen the Kids to Kids program as a target for her fundraising efforts. She shares her property with a family of three wonderful goats, and takes great delight in their care.
